When she first appeared on screen as a corporate figure in Season Two, few could have predicted that Jan Levinson would become the worst thing that ever happened to Michael. In “The Deposition,” Michael is fully prepared to testify on behalf of Jan in her wrongful termination suit. This is the case…until corporate’s lawyer reveals the horrific performance review Jan once gave him. It’s a brutal episode, but one that would ultimately serve as the prelude for the storm to come.
