It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Arya wanted to kill the people responsible for her father’s death. What doesn’t make sense, however, is one man’s mysterious disappearance from Arya’s famed kill list — Ser Ilyn Payne. The man who played Ser Ilyn Payne, Wilko Johnson, was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2012. Thankfully, Johnson underwent successful treatment and returned to acting. So, while it’s possible Ilyn Payne was removed from the list due to Johnson’s diagnosis, it was never explained on Thrones as to why Payne disappeared from the list.
