If it wasn’t obvious enough to this point, here’s yet another example of why the White Walkers are the kings of mystery on Game of Thrones. From their murky intentions to baby-turning proclivities to their artistic displays, the White Walkers are a freaky bunch. We were first exposed to the WW?s disturbing human-spirals in the pilot episode, and we were given yet another gruesome display in the Season 8 premier. Still, the show ended with zero explanation. Hopefully we will learn why the White Walkers create the spirals at some point, but our chances of finding out seem slim.
