Possessing rare physical gifts and a work ethic that was nearly unmatched, it was evident that Seau had a shot at becoming a professional athlete. In tandem with his obsession with winning, Seau was equally determined to better his family’s lives. During his time at Oceanside High School, Seau lettered in football, basketball and track and field. Although he was a standout in all three sports, everyone knew football was his calling.
