It’s difficult to imagine how Lambert finished in third place while competing on the television show Nashville Star. Far more famous now than any of her competitors on the show, Lambert has become one of the most recognizable figures among country music stars today. Her debut album, Kerosene, reached Platinum. Her fifth record – quaintly titled Platinum – won Lambert the Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
