Campbell is one of the true pioneers for country music stars. After performing a series of hit singles throughout the 60s and 70s, Campbell was given his own variety show named The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS. Campbell blended together various portions of country, pop and rock-and-roll to create a unique sound which differentiated him from the rest of his contemporaries.
