Deacon composed some of Queen’s most memorable hits like “You’re My Best Friend” and “I Want to Break Free,” but he’s perhaps best known for two of the most iconic bass intros ever on “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Under Pressure.” Perhaps the most underrated member of Queen, Deacon retired from playing in the late 1990s.
