Praised for his role as front man of Thin Lizzy, it’s often forgotten just how good of a bass player Lynott was. He earned acclaim for his pick work on the bass, and hard-charged solos during live shows. Of course, Lynott gave us classic rock gems like “The Boys Are Back in Town,” “Jailbreak” and “Cowboy Song.”
