One of the most successful debut records in U.K. history, and perhaps worldwide, for that matter. No frills, just straight-forward rock and undeniably British, courtesy of frontman Alex Turner. “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” is still one of the band’s best tunes and hard-pounding drummer Matt Helders should be considered among the greatest active drummers around.
