Kelly withstood the hardship of her father’s passing, and developed into a brilliant student. She first graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Public Affairs. Three years later, she earned a law degree (J.D.) from Albany Law School. This decision set the scene for a then-25-year-old Kelly to burst into the workplace with tons of promise.
