By mid-2017, Kelly had officially left Fox News to join NBC News. Her contract included roles as an anchor, the host of her own daytime show, and the host of her own Sunday night program. Essentially, Kelly was to become the new face of NBC. This was punctuated in a big way by the first interview she gave with the network.
