In 2017, TMZ came out with a report in which Walters allegedly was confined to her New York apartment. The report indicates that Walters had been “increasingly forgetful and confused.” Additionally, TMZ reported that Walters was not wanting to receive guests — whether they were old friends or people from ABC.
