Tywin Lannister — J.K. Simmons
It’s difficult to imagine anybody besting Charles Dance’s portrayal of Tywin Lannister, but J.K. Simmons might be the man for the job. Is there any doubt Simmons could play the cold, calculated, and battle-tested patriarch of the Lannister family? Simmons’ rendition of a cantankerous and cruel band teacher in Whiplash should be more than enough proof he would be perfect for the role of Tywin.
