The Hound — Michael Shannon
The Hound was a surly, rigid and miserable person for the majority of his time on Thrones. If anyone is familiar with Michael Shannon’s work — especially his time on Boardwalk Empire –you will likely agree that he is more than capable of playing a surly, miserable person. At 6-foot-3, Shannon can easily come off as intimidating. While his fighting skills may be up for debate, his persona and brash ways make him the perfect fit to play The Hound.
