13. The Duel (Season 5, Episode 12)

“The Duel” marked the long-awaited resolution to a particularly-complicated love triangle on the show between Angela, Dwight, and Andy. Beginning as an obnoxious kiss-ass with anger issues, the writers softened Andy’s edges in subsequent seasons (only to bring it back later). “The Duel” did wonders in fleshing out the “Nard-Dog,” allowing him to be play a sympathetic role after being oblivious to Dwight and Angela’s affair.
