One of the least politically correct characters in TV sitcom history, Archie Bunker (Carroll O’Conner) never went to charm school. Though he had issues with just about everything – neighbors, religion, his son-in-law – Archie loved his family and would do anything for them. The Norman Lear hit was a staple of 1970s television and is known for having some of the funniest and most genuine television writing of all-time.
