Polygamy can be a touchy subject for some, but Big Love never really glorified the practice. Instead, it took us inside the lives of such Mormon families and tastefully succeeded thanks to great writing and acting. It was easily the late Bill Paxton’s best work, while co-star Chloe Sevigny and reoccurring performances from Bruce Dern, Mary Kay Place and Harry Dean Stanton made the series a consistent favorite with fans and critics alike.
