The late, great Garry Shandling enjoyed success with two cable sitcoms, but Larry Sanders should go down as one of the best in TV history. Drawing on his experience as a guest, stand-up performer and fill-in host on The Tonight Show, Shandling offers plenty of authenticity as the fictitious late-night host Sanders. The show is also considered to be a major influence for sitcoms of the last two decades.
