For viewers, Girls seemed to be all or nothing. They either like it, or make a point to avoid it at all costs. There’s no doubt creator and star Lena Dunham is truly talented, but she often overshadowed the success of this very realistic show with her own actions and feminist comments that rubbed some the wrong way. The Golden Globe winner, however, also produced quality performances from Allison Williams and Adam Driver.
