Another stellar piece of work from Alan Ball. How can a dark comedy-drama about a family who runs a funeral home not be entertaining? For five seasons, Six Feet Under really should have been appointment viewing for its great writing and insightful character development. Perhaps Peter Krause’s finest work, and one of the best series finales’ ever.
