Initial intentions for this David E. Kelley vehicle was to be a miniseries, but a second season was ordered due to the show’s tremendous popularity. Hollywood superstars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, along with young star Shailene Woodley, shine as three women caught up in a murder. Already during its brief run, Kidman, co-star Alexander Skarsgard and guest star Laura Dern have all won Emmys for their performances.
