So, Kinvara?
Throughout the series, we became quite familiar with Melisandre — the utterly polarizing Red Priestess. In Season 6, however, we were briefly introduced to another Red Priestess named Kinvara. Kinvara traveled to Meereen and eventually had a conversation with Tyrion. She went on to tell him that Dany checked all the boxes of the ‘prince that was promised’ prophecy, but then we…never saw her again? It’s possible she was introduced only to push the ‘Dany is the promised one’ angle, but it seems like another example of the show running out of time and skipping over the story.
