Devastated from failing the SAT and being ruled ineligible, Seau took advantage of the year he was forced to sit out. His work ethic reached astronomical heights as he was hellbent on proving the naysayers wrong. By the time Seau took the field for the first time as a Trojan, the high school All-American had gained close to 50 pounds of muscle. Despite being limited to special teams his first season, Seau took over his junior year.
