Through the first four seasons of Seau’s career, the Chargers only had one winning season. Despite performing like one of the best players in the league, Seau grew frustrated. Then, in 1994, the Chargers went on an incredible run. Seau posted arguably the best year of his career. In addition to notching 154 tackles, Seau posted 5.5 sacks. His performance in the AFC Championship against the Pittsburgh Steelers was particularly legendary. Despite dealing with a painful shoulder injury, Seau dominated with 16 tackles – leading the Chargers to their first Super Bowl.
