1989, Seau’s junior year, was the year the entire country became aware of the name Junior Seau. The most talented and passionate player on the field every Saturday, Seau destroyed opposing quarterbacks. Junior totaled 19 sacks, was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, and a unanimous All-American. After dominating college football, it was time to move on to the NFL.
