Williams’ career spanned less than ten years, but the imprint he left on country music will be felt for years to come. The cowboy hat-wearing Alabama native made a name for himself with a slew of hit singles – ‘Hey Good Lookin,’ ‘Move It On Over,’ and ‘Never Again’ to name a few. While Williams was on top of the country music world, his body was slowly deteriorating. Drug abuse eventually led to Williams death at the age of 29 – a tragic loss for music as a whole.
