In 1969, Tammy Wynette wed a fellow country music star – George Jones. The couple divorced six years later, but were able to record several smash hits as a duet. Aside from Wynette, Jones featured in several historic duets alongside Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, and Ray Price. Jones is regarded as one of genre’s top vocalists with a voice that could elevate any record he was a part of.
