19. Operation Ivy
Operation Ivy are often cited as the pioneers of the ska punk movement in the U.S. and the band that essentially introduced the punk rock world to Lookout Records. Because of the that unique sound and some high-energy live shows, Op Ivy was at the forefront of an impressive burgeoning punk scene coming out of Northern California’s East Bay Area, specifically Berkeley.
