23. Bad Brains
Founded in Washington D.C., Bad Brains is one of the early staples of the hardcore punk scene of the late 1970s. However, it’s also blended reggae, funk, soul and even some metal into its music through the years, and still pops up to play today. Frontman H.R., aka Human Rights or Paul Hudson, has long been considered one of the greatest figures on the punk scene.
