5. The Stooges
Led by legendary singer Iggy Pop, who has enjoyed a successful solo career, The Stooges are kind of like a conceptual punk band. The group’s live shows were events, often with Pop cutting himself and pushing the limit both physically and mentally. That passion, however misguided at times, was a major influence on several punks and hard rockers who followed these Hall of Famers.
