10. Stiff Little Fingers
Formed in 1977 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, SLF is still going strong today and has been a big influence on several pop punk bands of today, especially the one up next on this list. Led by singer/guitarist Jake Burns, the band has never really enjoyed mainstream success but seems to be fine with that. It’s been able to hold its own for more than 40 years on the punk scene, so why stop.
