16. Fugazi
Fugazi’s uniqueness is what makes it one of the most important punk bands of all-time. The Washington D.C.-based group was fast, loud and clean with its overall sound. Yet, it blended reggae and dub with its hardcore roots to make a creative and fierce form of punk rock in the late 1980s and into the 1990s.
