A five-time Grammy winner, Wooten has been the backbone of the jazz-infused Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Not to mention, Wooten has showcased his harder, edgier side as a bass player with metal outfit Nitro. Wooten is a whiz on both the fretted and fretless bass, the double bass and even the cello. He’s also been a long-time teacher of the bass, as well as other instruments.
