A sign of a great musician is that they can keep going after adversity strikes. When Led Zeppelin disbanded following the death of drummer John Bonham, Jones didn’t stop. He began his career as a technically sound session player, capable of playing anything from blues to hard rock. So, the post-Zeppelin Jones had no trouble making a living while working with the likes of R.E.M, Foo Fighters, Peter Gabriel and the Butthole Surfers.
