Interesting Link
Elton’s interest in music was two-fold. He began playing his grandmother’s piano as a child, and instantly grew fond of it. This led Elton into playing small shows for his family and friends, and even at local pubs. Interestingly enough, his father had been a musician as well at one point. However, Elton’s father also wanted his son to enter a more conventional field. This clearly didn’t happen.
