Elton and His Mother
Elton’s mother reportedly had somewhat of a volatile personality. She and Elton butted heads constantly on a number of issues. There was even a long stretch in which the two didn’t speak with one another (although they reconciled before she passed). Elton’s mother stayed friends with Elton’s ex-personal assistant (Bob Halley) and his ex-manager/lover (Reid). Crazily enough, Elton’s mother left the vast majority of her estate to Halley rather than her own son. She died in 2017 at the age of 92.
