Father’s Second Marriage
Elton’s father remarried — and reportedly was a far better/more involved father to his four other children when compared to Elton. Elton even claims that his father never once attended any of his concerts. In interviews, John has called his father a “tough and unemotional man.” While things with his father weren’t great, Elton shared similar discourse with his mother later on in life.
