Giving Back in a Big Way
In 1992, Elton decided to help out those dealing with AIDS. He’s personally been frustrated by his failure to address these issues earlier in life. However, the Elton John AIDS Foundation was founded in order to help find a cure for the disease. Since its creation in the early ’90s, Elton has helped in raising more than $400 million.
