2000 — All That You Can’t Leave Behind — U2

To the U2 purist, this is probably far from their favorite in the band’s catalog. However, commercially, it reinforced Bono and the boys as the rock giants they are. After experimenting with its previous two albums (Zooropa and Pop), U2 returned to the recipe more receptive to the mainstream. Hits like “Beautiful Day” and “Walk On” also catered to the pop crowd. The record earned a whopping seven Grammys and its accompanying Elevation Tour made $110 million.
