2013 — Like Clockwork — Queens of the Stone Age
The only QOTSA record to reach No. 1 in the U.S., was also a bear for Josh Homme to complete. However, when it was done, Clockwork offered some of his groups best work as a whole. Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor and Elton John appeared on the album at various points. “My God Is The Sun” has almost a prog-metal feel while “I Sat By The Ocean” grooves on with Homme’s versatile voice at its best.
