2007 — In Rainbows — Radiohead
Released as a ‘pay what you want’ download to begin with, In Rainbows takes listeners on quite the journey in the band’s post-EMI effort. As is usually the case, the group gets experimental at times, but also delivers some songs like “Bodysnatchers” that take us back to the classic Radiohead sound that makes this golden. Unfortunately, the way in which the band chose to release the record overshadowed the quality of the project.
