3. Widows
Following a group of widows who, after losing their husbands in a failed heist, team up for a big score of their own, the film stars Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell, Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Wilson, and a breakout performance from Cynthia Erivo. It might have excited people when it was announced and impressed critics, but the film didn’t grab the attention of audiences in theaters. Just because it didn’t get much audience or awards attention before though doesn’t mean we can’t all shower it with love now from home.
