17. Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again!
Sequels are rarely as good as the first film, and yet, here’s another one on this list! Mamma Mia 2 did what all great sequels should. It asked itself what people loved about the first one and just made that even bigger. It didn’t worry about covering plot holes or even try to explain how Cher could be Meryl Streep’s mother (Cher is only three years older than Streep), it simply gave audiences the fun romp filled with great music. Also, is there anything more enjoyable in this life than watching Oscar-winner Colin Firth act absolutely absurd to ABBA music? I think not.
