17. The Great Gatsby, “Jay Gatsby” (2013)
It’s time for Leo to take on the film adaptation of one of the great novels of all-time. Reviews of this adaptation were mixed, but DiCaprio is genuine as the flawed eponymous Gatsby. The movie received high praise for its overall look and costume design, but DiCaprio was just as striking in one of his more underrated roles.
