13. Blood Diamond, “Danny Archer” (2006)
Most casual moviegoers might tend to forget that DiCaprio received his second Best Actor Oscar nomination for this role as a gun-runner and diamond smuggler. DiCaprio and co-star Djimon Hounsou, who earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination, carry a film that often gets lost in the superstar’s overall body of work. Maybe, because he’s more well-known for another prominent film in 2006 (see No. 5 on this list).
