Unfortunately, people do not take Oher as seriously as they did before the movie was created. People tend to look at Oher as if he got where he is because of handouts, when that couldn’t be further from the truth. Oher is very grateful for the Tuohy’s, but he believes the movie shed too much light on a falsified climb to the top.
