After sending Sammie’s DNA in, a cloning lab in Texas contacted Barbra. Instead of producing two dogs, the DNA created five. One passed away as a baby — though the other four were healthy copies of Sammie. Though she now had four dogs, Barbra determined that she couldn’t keep all of them.
